Eye diseases are widespread in Ghana, and many of them can lead to blindness if left untreated. As there were only a few eye clinics in Ghana in 1999, an eye clinic was set up in the area of the children’s village. A general medical outpatient clinic and a maternity ward were opened in 2019.
Care For Mothers
An emergency outpatient clinic was set up in 2020. Regular care for mothers and children before, during and after birth helps prevent serious illnesses. The treatment of patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure is also a major step forward in regional health care. The treatment of poor patients who cannot pay for necessary treatment themselves is made possible through donations.
